Physically FIT, Financially FIT, Mentally FIT

Have you ever felt a level of stress that seems unbearable?  I think we all have, and depending on your level(s) of fitness in your life they will determine how you take on adversity.  Many of us have heard some version of this quote “fail to plan, plan to fail.”  These are great words to live by when focusing on success in our lives.

I recently spoke with a 39 year old lady at our local GYM that was training for a fitness show, taking college courses two nights a week, working a full time job all while taking care of three kids under the ages of nine.  I know we are all not this ambitious but the lesson we can learn from her is that we all have the ability to be.  Try making a list this week of tasks you would like to complete and make them happen no matter the adversity. 

  • List A would be daily tasks that must be completed by end of business.
  • List B would consist of tasks needing to be completed this week that you can work on if you complete list A before the end of the day and that would carry over into you list A for the following day.
  •  List C are personal tasks that need to be completed by the end of the week 
  • Remember to create new lists every evening before calling it a day

 

Be sure to incorporate a healthier lifestyle from planned meals,  working out, paying off debt, and having candid conversations with coworkers/family/clients to help facilitate resolutions.  These are all key factors in staying FIT on all levels of our lives.  When stress comes bearing down and we have focused on FITNESS in multiple facets of our day to day we are better suited to create positive outcomes.
