June Housing Market Report
For the Month of June, in the Western Upstate New listings have decreased by 8.9% to 575. Pending sales decreased 6.7% to 210. Inventory levels have decreased by 8.8% to 4,049 units. Prices remain under pressure. The Median sales price decreased 9.5% to $133,000. Days on the Market went up 1% to 167 days. The Month Supply of Inventory went down 7.6% to 17.4 months.
Pending Sales for the 12 month period ranging from July 2011 through June 2012 were down by 1.3%. The overall Median Sales Price was up 2.8% to $126,000. The price that sells the quickest was $100,000 and below. The price range that tends to sell the slowest was $350,001 and above.
