Airbnb, VRBO, etc are some of the most used options for people looking for comfortable housing when traveling could also be a great way for those less than honest people to take advantage of knowing tenant laws in their desired areas!

Many people take advantage of rental platforms especially those that have second homes in desirable areas so that they can supplement their income while they are not using the property, good idea, right?

Or is it?  Let's think about this, every city county has tenant laws so if you allow a tenant to stay in an investment home through Airbnb over that specific time limit which is set by your city or county, it could cost you a lot of money because you may have to go through the eviction process to get them out.

Simply put....make sure you check this time limit out in your city /county prior to renting your home or investment property through any rental platform to ensure you know your rights if you have a hard time getting someone out of your property.
