Forbes magazine has ranked Clemson, South Carolina as one of the top ten paces in the country to retire.  The reasons sited are it is a college town, warm climate, above-average air quality, cost of living about national average, typical home price $135,000, good state tax climate, low crime, and high walk-ability rank.  Clemson is located just north of Anderson, east of Seneca and west of the towns of Easley and Greenville.  The entire report can be found at the link below.
