A Day of Thanksgiving

Next Thursday will be a day of overindulgence for many of us. For most families, it’s a day of togetherness around the family table sharing a tremendous meal of turkey and dressing with all the trimmings. It’s the official start to the much anticipated holiday season. There will be football games to watch, desserts to consume, distant family to reconnect with or to tolerate in some cases. But nevertheless, it’s a time of joy and a time to be “thankful” for all we have been blessed with. That doesn’t just include material things. For me the greatest blessings are the ones we often take for granted… our family, our health, our friendships, the privilege to live in a free country where we can make our own choices. God has truly been good to me and I recognize all that I have been blessed with. SO THANKFUL!!!!
