Denver Downs Fall Festival:

The Denver Downs Corn Maze and Fall Festival are scheduled to run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. There will be hay rides, farm football and bonfires. Admission is $10 per person, with children 24 months old and younger admitted free.

Boo in the Park in Williamston:

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Boo in the Park will take place at the Mineral Spring Park in Williamston.

Local businesses, churches, organizations and individuals will give out treats. Face painting, games, and the Pelzer Church of God Puppet show on the small stage also are planned. There will be a coloring contest, making of children's identification kits for parents and live miniature ponies to view. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. food will be available, and from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be entertainment including the Clown Ministry from Restoration Chapel in Williamston. Cannon Hospital to host Trick or Treat Trail:

Cannon Hospital in Pickens will host the Trick or Treat Trail from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for children age 12 and under. There will be inflatables, snacks and a costume contest that is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. The trail will be on Main Street, and the costume judging will take place in Legacy Square.

Clemson Downtown Trick or Treat:

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., downtown merchants will give out candy to trick-or-treaters. There will also be pumpkin decorating for children age 12 and younger. College Avenue will be closed from Keith Street to S.C. 93 during the event, with free parking in the parking deck after 3 p.m.

Hallow Fair at McGee's Irish Pub and Restaurant:

There will be an old-fashioned Halloween carnival with games, craft vendors, ghost stories, live music, prizes and movies on the deck. Come see the black and white version of "The Wolf Man" and "The Creature from the Black Lagoon." The $5 Entry Fee includes a DJ Dance Party, ghost stories, costume contest, educational demos, scary movies and trick-or-treating. All other games and activities are ticketed at $1 each.

Seneca Baptist Church to offer Trunk or Treat:

A Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Seneca Baptist Church, 1080 S. Oak St./S.C. 59 S. There will be free hot dogs and candy treats. All area children are invited, but no scary costumes please.

Spooktacular at Table Rock State Park:

A Halloween Spooktacular Trunk or Treat will be held from dark until at Table Rock State Park. A ranger-led campfire program will take place afterward, with some spooky stories about the park and area. There will be a costume contest with prizes for best-dressed boys, girls and adults and best-decorated vehicle. Admission is free.

Treats at the mall:

The Anderson Mall, 3131 N. Main St. in Anderson, will present a trick-or-treating opportunity with goodies and sweets from participating retailers. Stop by guest services for a treat and list of participating stores.

SUNDAY

Pendleton to host Halloween events:

A trunk or treat event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Pendleton United Methodist Church. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. there will be a movie screen on the front lawn of First Baptist Church showing cartoons. Come for a few minutes or a couple of hours.

Halloween Carnival at Marathon Church:

Marathon Church in Powdersville will host a Halloween Carnival from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Free carnival and trail rides, games and candy will be offered. Food will be available for purchase.

Halloween on the Green in Seneca:

The fun starts at 4 p.m. with the Ghost and Goblin Contest Costume 3K Fun Run. Registration is available at www.seneca.sc.us, at the number below or in person at 3 p.m. the day of the event. The run/walk will start and end on Main St. in front of Norton Thompson Park. Best costume prizes will be awarded. There will be hay rides, pumpkin painting, inflatables, and free hot dogs and candy from local merchants.
