South Carolina Among The Top Moving Destinations

The Associated Press reported that South Carolina had the nations second highest percentage of inbound migration in 2013, according to the 37th annual migration study released Wednesday by United Van Lines.  Oregon was the top moving destination, followed by South Carolina, then North Carolina.  UCLA professor Michael Stoll said in a news release that business incentives, industrial growth and lower cost of living are attracting jobs and people to the west and southeast.  Anderson, Greenville, Oconee and Pickens Counties are well positioned to capture much of this inbound migration.
