The revitalization plan for Williamston, SC is on it's way!! Initially being put on the map for the healing powers of the mineral spring water as news spread of this medicinal water the town grew and became a major resort; when the railroads arrived in 1851 the Mammouth Hotel was built and was the biggest hotel in the State! In 1871 Williamston became the original home to Lander University!
