If you’ve ever driven down Poinsett Highway between downtown Greenville and Cherrydale, then you have seen how beautiful Paris Mountain looks from that angel. You’ve probably also noticed the array of power lines on the side of the road, abandoned buildings and overall unkempt appearance of that area. Good news! A group of public and private partners have come together and formed “The Poinsett District Revitalization Project”. Although it will take years to achieve the master plan, you will begin to see changes soon. The plan includes adding coffee shops, doctor’s offices, grocery stores and even an outdoor climbing wall. For those of us who love and travel Northern Greenville County often, this is very exciting!! For more information, check out the website: thepoinsettdistrict.org
