Greenville SC Bans Talking On Cell Phones While Driving

Tonight at midnight the new ordinance prohibiting talking, texting or using your cell as a navigational device while driving in the city of Greenville, SC!  You must be pulled off of the road to use the actual phone for any activity. However, if you have voice activation you may use that option, you just can't have the phone in your hand.

First offense violation can result in $100.00 fine and after the 3rd offense the Judge can charge you up to $300.00 & has the right to confiscate your device.
