Cold Remedy

Unfortunately, I have a stinking cold. The really funny thing is, I know exactly what to do to prevent a cold, but I stopped. My husband and I make it a habit to grate ginger, bring it to a boil and add freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey. This really keeps the cold away and if you already have one, at bay. Ginger has a spicy taste which helps soothe a sore throat along with the healing properties of honey. My children have never had the flu and rarely get a cold so I know this really works! I just wish I would have kept this up as I would not be in my current predicament; however, my loving husband did make the tea for me this morning and I already feel better. Stay safe this winter everyone and take the proper precautions to avoid getting sick! God Bless.
